By downloading, installing, or using the 30 Plants mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms applicable to certain features or services. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

2. Description of Service

30 Plants is a mobile application designed to help users track their plant diversity intake by photographing meals and using AI technology to identify and count different plant types. The App provides analytics to help users achieve the recommended goal of consuming 30 different plant types per week.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the 30 Plants App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for monitoring the use of the App by minors under their supervision.

4. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

You retain ownership of the photos and data you upload to the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your photos using our AI technology to provide the plant identification service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Paid Subscriptions and Billing

A 30 Plants subscription is required for full access to our features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees promptly.
• Allow us to charge your provided payment method for recurring subscriptions until you cancel.

Cancellation and Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store. Refunds will be handled in accordance with the policies of the App Store through which you made the purchase.

8. AI Technology and Accuracy

The App uses artificial intelligence to identify plant types in your photos. While we strive for accuracy, the AI technology may not always be 100% accurate. The App is intended for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services to provide certain functionality, including image analysis and data storage. By uploading content, you acknowledge and agree that your photos and related data may be processed and stored by trusted third-party providers solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App. We do not control and are not responsible for the terms, policies, or practices of such third parties, but we take reasonable steps to ensure they meet appropriate data protection and security standards.

10. Health and Medical Disclaimer

The App provides general information about plant diversity and nutrition. This information is not intended as medical advice and should not replace consultation with healthcare professionals. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and materials provided through 30 Plants are the property of the App's creators or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without prior permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

30 Plants is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee the App will be free of errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities. Results may vary for individual users.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 30 Plants and its creators are not liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
• Loss of data, reputation, or profits arising from the App's use.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

16. Disputes Resolution

If you have any concern or dispute about the App, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at: thirtyplants@outlook.com. You agree that the original English text of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail in the case of a dispute.

17. Changes to Terms

These terms shall be governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of them.
